Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to join our Senior Management Team. The Director of Advice Services will support the delivery of Z2K’s strategy through effective leadership of the organisation’s advice and casework services. Principal Responsibilities:

  1. Management of Z2K’s advice and casework services, ensuring the highest quality in all aspects of service delivery.
  2. Lead and develop the advice and casework team and line manage assigned staff.
  3. Identify and implement strategies, services and projects that enable Z2K to increase the impact and reach of its work.
  4. As part of the Senior Management Team, actively contribute to Z2K’s fundraising, research, policy and campaigns work.

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for tackling poverty and injustice. You will be committed to working with communities who are highly disadvantaged and have a passion for helping people to overcome homelessness and poverty.

With at least three years’ experience managing social welfare advice and casework services, you will possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and have sound judgment and problem-solving skills.

You will understand Z2K’s position in the advice service landscape and the needs and experiences of advice service users from a range of backgrounds.

With a client-focused and holistic approach to advice and casework services you be committed to ensuring our clients voices and views are heard and listened to.
