About the role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Volunteer Engagement Manager to join our team on a maternity cover contract. It is an integral role to our continued success, supporing vulnerable women with multiple complex needs during pregnancy and those who experienced gender violence of FGM.

We are looking for someone, who can 'hit the ground running' following a handover from our current Volunteer Engagament Manager.

About you

You will have a successful track record of working with volunteers from diverse backgrounds, of recruiting and motivating volunteers and providing the environment for a rewarding experience. You will be experienced with gathering and interpreting data to determine strategies for recruitment, motivating and retaining volunteers; at ease with influencing stakeholders and championing new ideas for success. You will work collaboratively with the wider  WHFS team, share our values and be passionate and committed to improving the lives of vulnerable women.
