Job Description

The University of East London Students' Union is a membership organisation set up to ensure students are empowered to have a full university experience. We offer our members opportunities to meet new people, explore interests and establish mechanisms to improve their course and University.

The student groups coordinator role has been restructured. They will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of activities and events, including establishing and working with student-led groups such as societies, communities, media and fundraising. They will also deliver training and other development programmes for student leaders in student groups. By student groups, we mean societies, community groups, campaign groups and other similar student-led groups.

You will be educated to degree level in any subject or have equivalent experience in activities and events. This does not need to be in a students’ union, but an understanding of how student groups can enhance personal development is necessary. You will also be able to demonstrate success in a previous similar role.
