It's a great time to join us. We're part-way through a journey towards being a more effective and more relevant students' union which truly represents and supports our hyper-diverse membership.

The adviser (part-time, four days per week) will be responsible for providing impartial advice to students on academic and housing matters. You will represent and support students in meetings and panels and advocate on their behalf. You will provide feedback on policies and procedures to help develop a more preventive approach to the Union's work.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role with proven success, providing complex case-based advice to individuals, and advocating on behalf of clients. Experience of membership, not-for-profit or similar organisation would be useful, but isn’t essential.
