The University of East London Students' Union is a membership organisation set up to ensure students are empowered to have a full university experience. We offer our members opportunities to meet new people, explore interests and establish mechanisms to improve their course and University.

A key part of our plan for advice provision is to create more helpful and engaging content for our student members which they can read/watch in their own time. We also have to strengthen our reporting to help inform the work of the wider policy team and student representatives.

The Advice Manager will be responsible for managing the advice team and, when required, providing advice on academic matters to students. They will identify trends and produce reports using data emerging from advice cases, and use that to inform effective delivery of campaigns by student officers, other student representatives and staff. You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) or you will have a minimum of two years’ experience in giving advice in a similar setting, preferably with management or supervisory experience.
