Job Description

Unicef UK is looking for volunteers to help with this year’s Soccer Aid for Unicef campaign. You will collect donations from the general public and help us to raise vital funds for children in the UK and around the world.

Why do we need you?
Soccer Aid for Unicef brings together two teams of celebrities and football legends for the biggest celebrity charity football match in the calendar, broadcast live on ITV. The event started in 2006 and has taken place every two years since, raising more than £30million for Unicef UK and providing much needed support for children in danger.

When and where?
Tuesday 11 June 2019
Location: various tube stations and locations across London.  We will hold a briefing session for volunteers which you can attend in person or join online.

For how long?
Three to four hours in total with plenty of flexibility to fit around your availability.
Six hours (morning: 8am – 2pm or afternoon: 2pm – 8pm) for team leaders.

What skills do you need?
You do not need previous experience to get involved – you just need to be reliable and enthusiastic with a positive approach. We are also looking for 24 team leaders to coordinate small groups of volunteers and act as a key point of contact for Soccer Aid staff. To be a team leader you should have excellent skills in supervising others.

You will need to make your own way to and from your designated location.
