Job Description

Since 1995, we've been providing employment support to people with mental health problems in London, helping them transform their lives and enjoy the benefits that sustained employment brings. With the elevated incidence of mental health and employment need as a result of COVID-19 we are looking for an experienced, creative and self-starting Communications Lead to help us promote our services, tell the amazing stories of our client successes to a range of stakeholders, and boost the our internal communications as the charity launches a range of change programmes.

About the role

You'll be responsible for reviewing, updating and delivering marketing materials for Twining’s online and face-to-face services and programmes. This includes creating and marketing case studies about Twining’s work, managing and expanding our social media presence, and updating and managing our Twining’s website, blog, and newsletters with engaging content. You'll also develop our Twining’s internal communications strategy, including updating and managing the Staff Intranet through our new Microsoft 365 IT system. Finally, you'll be working with Twining’s delivery partners to ensure they are meeting contract marketing requirements.

About you

 You'll have a positive attitude, a commitment too diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity. You'll be a team player willing to work across teams, open to feedback and ready to address any self-development needs. We expect you to have at least three years of marketing and communications experience, have excellent  communication skills with a track record of creating engaging  content which can reach the target audience, you'll know how to create, sustain and monitor social media campaigns, manage websites, and boost internal communications, by managing staff intranets and newsletters. Finally, you'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, negotiate and influence when necessary, and work across teams to get results. 

This is a role which can be done remotely with to view to attending monthly meetings at our Ealing head office. We'd also love to hear from applicants who have lived experience of mental health problems.
