Campaigns and Public Affairs Manager
the society of authors

Job Description

Are you a public affairs professional with a track record of successfully lobbying and delivering campaigns?

Would you like to work for a membership organisation representing all types of writers, illustrators and spoken word artists?

Join us to work with our CEO and communications team to help influence government policy and industry practice, and to promote understanding of the SoA’s aims and policies among our audiences.

It's an organisation where you can grow and develop and is also a great place to work. Our working culture is collaborative, friendly and supportive. What's more, we’ve recently moved into bright, modern offices located in a vibrant part of Bloomsbury.

We’re looking for someone who wants to help develop our campaigning work and engage our 11,000-strong membership. Ideally, we're looking for candidates who are committed to a permanent, long-term position with us.

When applying, please email your CV together with your letter of application. We acknowledge all applications.

Interviews will take place on Wednesday 25 September.

The SoA is committed to championing equality, inclusivity and diversity. We strongly encourage applications from a broad range of social, cultural and educational backgrounds and from under-represented backgrounds.
