Job Description

The Point of Care Foundation's mission is to humanise healthcare by helping to strengthen relationships among staff and by helping staff and patients to work together.   We offer a range of practical interventions and training programmes aimed at changing working practices and cultures.

During the course of 2021 some of our trustees are due to step down from their roles, so we are looking for new trustees to contribute to the strategic vision for this exciting and innovative organisation and who have the skills to support our current and future work. This is a timely opportunity to contribute to the effort to transform the culture of healthcare organisations in the UK and make them more staff-friendly and patient-centred. 

The organisation is committed to developing a diverse board that represents the communities we serve, and encourage applicants from all backgrounds across the UK.  At this time, we are looking in particular for trustees who have specialist skills in one or more of these subject areas: social enterprise/business development/commercial; finance; communications, marketing, media/PR.   In addition we are always keen to have trustees with lived-experience of health or social care.   

We are all working remotely because of Covid19 restrictions.
