Managing Director, Development and Partnerships
the freedom fund

Job Description

The Freedom Fund is a leader in the global movement to end modern slavery.  We identify and invest in the most effective frontline efforts to eradicate modern slavery in the countries and sectors where it is most prevalent. Partnering with visionary investors, governments, anti-slavery organisations and those at risk of exploitation, we tackle the systems that allow slavery to persist and thrive. Working together, we protect vulnerable populations, liberate and reintegrate those enslaved and prosecute those responsible.

The Freedom Fund has programs in India, Ethiopia, Thailand, Myanmar, Nepal and Brazil. We currently support and fund approximately 140 organisations in these regions, the vast majority of which are frontline, community-based NGOs. We also work to influence global policy by commissioning and sharing research and amplifying the voices of our partners.

You will have a proven track record of initiating and stewarding high-value relationships across sectors and geographies, and of leading a professional fundraising and grant management operation.
