Partnerships and Programmes Manager (Arts Workshops)
talitha arts

Job Description

If you are creative, relational, organised,  have experience with facilitating workshops, and love meeting and forming relationships with people, this might be the perfect role for you.

Talitha Arts is an integrative creative arts charity that offers creative arts workshops to those who have experienced trauma (through trafficking, living with dementia, domestic and sexual abuse, and homelessness).  Talitha Arts is seeking an artist and/or arts therapist (from any creative arts background) as project manager for Talitha’s partnerships and programmes.

The majority of the role will include developing new partnerships, building on existing ones and project managing all of Talitha’s programming in the UK and abroad (including workshops, events and activities). We are looking for someone with experience in the creative arts and some experience leading/co-leading workshops (with children, older people, and/or vulnerable people) who is willing to be trained as a Talitha practitioner, as there will be a need to facilitate (within a wider team) 3-4 programmes per year. The role is mostly home-based but will require travel into London for all meetings and programmes.

Creativity is at the heart of everything we do, and therefore we are seeking someone who shares our belief in the transformative power of the creative arts and can reflect our creative and relational ethos in their approach to training and workshops. Talitha is a charity with Christian foundations, and while this position is open to those of all faiths and none, we are seeking someone who is sympathetic to our Christian roots and values.

At Talitha, we recognise the inequity regarding employment and opportunities brought about by structural oppression and marginalisation. Thus, we encourage and warmly welcome applications from underrepresented groups such as ethnic minorities, those with disabilities and LGBTQI+ candidates.

If applying through CharityJob, lease include a cover letter along with your CV.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
