Solent Mind is the leading ­mental health charity across Hampshire providing a range of high quality services to improve people’s mental wellbeing and to promote choice and rights to everyone who needs our support. Our services operate in various locations throughout the Hampshire area.

The Wellbeing Advisor (Positive Minds) will support service users to reach independence and wellbeing through group and community support with the aim of enabling service users to achieve independence and wellbeing through assessment, goal planning and 1:1 support. We are currently recruiting for:

WELLBEING ADVISOR (POSITIVE MINDS)

Hours: 22.5 Hours Per Week (During Mon to Fri Midday to 8pm, Sat 10am to 2pm)

Salary Range: £15,833 to £17,052 Pro Rata Per Annum

Location: Portsmouth (Location TBC)

Closing Date: Mon 28 Oct 2019 (Before 5.00pm)

Interview Date: Fri 15 Nov 2019

As a Wellbeing Advisor (Positive Minds) you will be working 1:1 with clients, and facilitating workshops, and structured recovery focused groups, using outcome based measures and various tools to enable service users to better manage their mental health and set them on the road to recovery.

You will be based at the Portsmouth Support and Recovery Service (Positive Minds) with some work being done from St Marys Health campus at times.

If you have experience of working with people with mental health problems and have good written and verbal communication skills we would like to hear from you.
