Solent Mind is the leading ­mental health charity across Hampshire providing a range of high quality services to improve people’s mental wellbeing and to promote choice and rights to everyone who needs our support. Our services operate in various locations throughout the Hampshire area.

We run the italk service in partnership with Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust and are one of the largest Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) services in the country providing Step 2 and Step 3 therapies. We are currently recruiting for:

PATIENT CONTACT OFFICER

Hours: 1 x Full Time 37 Hours Per Week. 1 x Part Time 19 Hours Per Week

Salary Range: £18,549 to £19,975 Pro Rata Per Annum (NB: Pay Award Pending)

Location: Eastleigh

A role has become available in our hard working and close-knit team for a full time and a part time Patient Contact Officer in the Telephone Referral Centre (TARC) at italk.

If you thrive in a busy office environment and are passionate about patient care this could be a great opportunity for you! This is a high level administration role, so excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner will be essential to ensure patients gain access to the support they need.  An understanding of mental health issues is helpful, but not essential.  Your IT skills will be put to good use as you will be registering patients over the phone and booking appointments on our patient database.

We can offer you shifts between 8am and 8pm Monday to Thursday and Friday 8am to 4.30pm; preferred shifts will be discussed at interview.
