INDIVIDUAL PLACEMENT & SUPPORT (IPS) SPECIALIST

Contract: Fixed Term For One Year (from commencement with a view to be permanent)

Hours: 30 Hours Per Week

Salary: £23,057 to £24,830 Pro Rata Per Annum

Location: Portsmouth

Portsmouth Support and Recovery are looking for two people to join their established Secondary Employment Service. As part of the Individual Placement Support you will be following the 8 principles of IPS to help service users gained paid employment.

IPS (Individual Placement and Support) supports people with severe mental health difficulties into employment. It involves intensive, individual support, a rapid job search followed by placement in paid employment, and time-unlimited in-work support for both the employee and the employer.

Full IPS training will be provided but a background in employment and/or mental health is essential. We would welcome applications from anyone who has a background in employer engagement.
