HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER (VOLUNTEERING AND L&D)

Hours: 37 Hours Per Week (30 Hours Per Week Also Considered)

Salary Range: £27,817 To £29,959 (Pro Rata) Per Annum (NB: Pay Award Pending)

Location: Southampton/Home Based (Currently home working due to Covid-19)

Closing Date: Wed 03 Mar 2021 (Before 9.00am)

Interview Dates: Fri 26 & Mon 29 Mar 2021

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, proactive and resilient HR professional, based at our Head Office in Southampton with some homeworking. The successful applicant must be able to work well under pressure, have professional credibility and be able to deal with a range of HR issues. The role is busy and varied and could be a great opportunity for someone wishing to develop their HR career. You will support the HR Director with generalist human resources and organisational development activities with specific emphasis on:

  • Learning and development - including maximising use of our online resources, developing current training workshops for managers and staff on human resources issues/needs and delivering these as and when required
  • Health & Safety - ensuring that we are meeting our legal requirements
  • Volunteering - managing our approach to volunteering across the organisation

You will have a CIPD qualification; experience of HR and volunteer management; experience of delivering learning & development; excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and good IT and numeracy skills.
