As part of the national Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme (IAPT), Solent Mind, in partnership with Southern Health Foundation NHS Trust are delivering an exciting service called italk.  This large IAPT service works across Hampshire. EMPLOYMENT ADVISOR

Hours: 30 Hours Per Week

Salary Range: £22,603 to £24,341 Pro Rata Per Annum

Location: Eastleigh

Closing Date: Fri 24 Jan 2020 (Before 9.00am)

Interview Date: Mon 10 Feb 2020

You will provide employment advice, information and practical support to help people who are currently employed to retain their employment. For example individuals going through the absence management process, grievance/disciplinary procedure where their employment issue is affecting their work or work is impacting on their mental health.

The role will involve working with a caseload of clients providing advice and support. This will be mainly over the telephone but also occasional visits to client’s workplace to support in formal meetings.

This would suit some-one who is CIPD qualified or equivalent, but if you have a good knowledge and sound understanding of employment issues and how this could impact on an individual’s mental health; excellent IT skills, communication skills, both written and verbal this could be the role for you.
