Solent Mind is the leading ­mental health charity across Hampshire providing a range of high quality services to improve people’s mental wellbeing and to promote choice and rights to everyone who needs our support. Our services operate in various locations throughout the Hampshire area.

Are you interested in becoming a Crisis Peer Practitioner so you can use your lived experience to help others in their recovery? Would you like the opportunity to deliver peer support to our service users in partnership with NHS Crisis Care Practitioners?

CRISIS PEER PRACTITIONER

Contract: Fixed Term Until 31 Mar 2022 (possible extension subject to funding)

Hours: 18.5 Hours (includes evenings/weekends/bank holidays on a rota basis)

Salary Range: £19,880 to £21,409 Pro Rata Per Annum (plus enhancements for unsocial hours)

Location: Portsmouth

Closing Date: Mon 17 May 2021 (Before 9.00am)

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the form of a Crisis Peer Practitioner post. The post-holder will play an integral role in the recovery pathways of their service users, working with NHS staff to support those who are accessing Crisis Services to take control of their own recovery. You will support service users to achieve their goals on their road to recovery, providing practical and emotional support and, crucially, you will have your own lived experience of mental health issues and a recovery journey of your own to share.
