COMMUNITY PEER RECOVERY PRACTITIONER(S)

Hours: 37 Hours Per Week (occasional evening/weekend/bank holiday required on a rota)

Salary: £19,880 to £21,409 Per Annum

Location: Portsmouth

The Community Peer Recovery Team (CPRT), based at St Mary’s Health Campus in Portsmouth will deliver support work to our service users in partnership with their secondary care practitioners. The CPRT will work with service users, in the community and in their homes to deliver support for both mental wellbeing and social care needs.

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the form of two Community Peer Recovery Practitioner posts.  The post-holders will play an integral role in the recovery pathways of their service users, working with Solent NHS staff to support those who are accessing secondary care to take control of their own recovery.

Working on Support Plans with service users, you will support them to achieve their targets and goals on their road to recovery, providing practical and emotional support and, crucially, you will have your own lived experience of mental health issues and a recovery journey of your own to share.
