Job Description

Servol Community Services is a charitable organisation based in Birmingham and London. We provide a range of services to individuals who have mental health problems. We work in partnership with health and social care professionals to support our service users.

Our mission is simple; to deliver quality services to our users and an excellent service to our stakeholders. You will be joining the board to be a part of the team responsible for implementing and driving strategy, managing risk, monitoring finances, creating a diverse funding base and ensuring Servol is compliant and up to date on relevant policies.
 

We are currently seeking two new trustees: 

• Someone who is currently practicing within the legal profession, or who has significant skills and experience within this field;

· Someone with high level experience of social housing and local authorities.

It is desirable for the successful candidate will have prior board experience to complement their industry knowledge and will understand the not-for-profit sector.

You are able to commit to quarterly board meetings held at our Head Office in Birmingham, an annual away day in Birmingham and will be assigned to be a part of the finance or Operations, Quality and Safety subcommittee that meet quarterly.
