Project Manager (Scarborough and Ryedale)
Based in our Scarborough office
Full Time
£33,463 per annum based on a 37 hour week
Pension contribution of 9% gross annual salary
SASH is a registered charity providing accommodation for homeless young people aged 16-25 in the homes of its volunteer hosts.
We are seeking a Project Manager for the Scarborough and Ryedale areas to manage a team of staff and volunteer ‘hosts’ in order to provide Supported Lodgings and Nightstop services for vulnerable young people in the areas. Based in our Scarborough office, key responsibilities include: management of a busy team; acting as lead practitioner working with a small caseload of young people; representing SASH locally in multi-agency meetings.
The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of current issues in housing and homelessness and issues affecting young people.
You will also have a strong track-record in achieving positive outcomes for young people facing challenging circumstances as well as experience of multi-agency working with other voluntary and statutory sector organisations. We are looking for candidates who are experienced in managing safeguarding and who have managed and supported staff.
