Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Salford CVS to support our grants and investments programme.

We’re looking to recruit a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Grants Development Worker, initially on 12-month fixed-term contracts. It is our intention to extend these contract by an additional 2-years, subject to additional funding being secured.

The post-holder will assist the Grants Manager in the development and delivery of a large grants and investments programme (aimed at voluntary, community, social enterprise organisations and schools) in excess of £1m per year, largely focused on addressing health inequalities in the city of Salford. The role will be based in both the office and community settings.

Are you good with people, good at record keeping and able to write concise reports?

Our chosen candidate will be able to communicate effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds, from small community groups to large charities, schools and public sector commissioners. This will include tailoring information, advice and guidance to the needs of the VCSE sector.

The production of visually-appealing case studies and summary impact reports will be a key part of the roles, together with supporting funded groups in articulating their impact and achievements.

The post-holder will be a strong team player and work closely with their counterpart, two Grants Administrators and the Grants Manager. They will also work well on an individual basis.

Full training will be provided to familiarise the post-holder with Salford CVS’ systems.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
