Job Description
We are looking for a Training and Development Manager to join Respect's sector support team and fulfil two roles:
- Deliver training, help develop and expand Respect’s training programme, and manage the accreditation of all training, learning and development activities.
- Represent Respect in the London VAWG Consortium and Ascent project.
Key activities
- Deliver Respect’s training courses, either face-to-face or via videoconference platforms
- Manage the development of training courses that meet the needs of practitioners and organisations in the sector
- Oversee the accreditation of Respect’s training courses (CPD accreditation or other accreditation schemes)
- Produce training materials/resources
- Work with external providers to develop specialist courses
- Help expand the pool of Respect Trainers and manage them
- Assess the impact of training programmes
- Attend London VAWG consortium and Ascent project meetings and contribute to the project development, ongoing funding, resources and direction
- Provide consultancy services to organisations that are looking to improve their response to perpetrators
- Deliver training on working with perpetrators and male victims to services through the Ascent project
