Job Description
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual with a professional and friendly character to join us in our Adoptions team.
We are a UK Registered charity that works to raise awareness of animal abuse internationally and to relieve the plight of Romanian dogs by supporting our rescuers, private shelters with food, veterinary treatments and running education and neutering programmes. We also help some of these dogs to find loving family homes in the UK and across Europe.
We are looking for someone to help the dogs find their perfect happy ever after and who is committed to dedicate an hour or two at least every other day/ evening, working from their own home.
Our adoption team homes hundreds of dogs each year. Our success would not be possible without our fantastic team made solely of volunteers. As an Investor in Volunteers accredited charity, we pride ourselves on our professionalism, customer service and work with dedication and passion.
We are looking for someone to work within our current team in considering new applications and in homing our foster dogs in the UK.
You will be joining a diverse and kind team of animal loving individuals in a wonderful team. Our daily team communication is on Facebook social media. The role itself is working from your own home, using your own laptop or pc. As we are a team of volunteers, there is no remuneration involved.
What we are looking for:
Good written communication skills
Good use of email, Facebook social media
Basic knowledge of spreadsheets (we can help train on this)
Team player
Positive attitude and reliable
Experience of owning rescue dogs or handling dogs is desirable
Basic knowledge of the stray dog problems in Romania is required
