Job Description

Mustard Tree has an established track record over the past 25 years combatting poverty and preventing homelessness across Greater Manchester. Our values are Belief, Dignity, Opportunity, Diversity and Partnership, and underpin all we do.

Due to the pressure of Covid-19 and the increase in the need for our services, we are looking for people who want to spend their time supporting others to join our team.

You may be an experienced support worker and/or someone who has strong customer service skills. A good listener who empowers others, you enjoy working as part of a fast paced, friendly, and fun team and feel that our values reflect yours.

Initially a 12-month contract with strong likelihood of permanent contracts, these roles will work directly with our clients and trainees, helping people with short term emergency support needs as well as our longer term Freedom Project.

We encourage applicants from all ethnic and economic backgrounds as well as candidates who are able to speak other languages – particularly Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, French, Russian, Spanish…
