Job Description

No previous experience of being a trustee required! We are looking for someone with the financial reporting, planning and management skills that will help the Board and Chief Executive with the goal of helping Mosac to reach many more families in need. The Treasurer will take the lead at Board level on the charity's financial performance, policies and controls, as well as ensuring Mosac keeps proper accounts.

People from all sectors of employment, with the relevant financial expertise, are welcome to apply. We are based in Lewisham SE4. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiatic volunteer who is willing and able to give some time and effort to join our board and help us grow our charity to support more families across the UK whose children have been abused.  1 in 20 children in the UK have been sexually abused. Mosac is a unique charity providing support to protective parents whose child or children have disclosed sexual abuse, usually by a trusted adult from within their family. We run a national helpline and advocacy services, counselling, play therapy, parent workshops and professional training.
