Job Description

You will be working within a new stabilisation residential setting for seven people who have experienced rough sleeping and who have problematic issues around drugs and alcohol. Your main responsibility will be to deliver a strength-based structured day programme for the residents using a range of therapeutically diverse approaches. The aim is to facilitate person-centred health and wellbeing interventions to help each resident in their drug and alcohol recovery and any associated mental health needs.  By achieving this, each resident has the opportunity to break the cycle of homelessness too.

You will be responsible for the management of a small number of complex cases, through assessment, support planning, delivery of structured 1:1s and group-work sessions all of which sits alongside or within an activity programme designed and tailored around the individual needs of the residents and with their input.

Central to the work is helping each resident to identify tools and techniques to support their stabilisation journey. To also identify their priorities in life and develop a plan to achieve their goals, with an understanding of what a healthy, balanced life looks like.  Your work with partner agencies will support residents to access services and treatment and provide them with opportunities in the community.  This will be critical to achieving high quality, evidence-based harm reduction and stabilisation work.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
