Trustees with experience in Accounting and Finance, Digital Technology and English Language Teaching (ELT) 

International House Trust Limited (trading as International House London) is seeking suitable candidates to join its board of Trustees.

The course portfolio includes teaching of General English, Executive English, Young Learner, and Foreign language courses. In addition to synchronous teaching, a range of asynchronous platforms have been developed which improve accessibility to our courses.  

IH London excels in the field of language and communications training, and more widely in the area of educational tourism.  We are widely regarded as a world leader in language teaching, teacher training and trainer training. The Teacher Training programmes, for both native and non-native teachers of English as well as other languages, lead to recognised certificates. Most of the courses on offer aim to teach, explore and improve the underlying principles and practical applications of current ELT methodologies and approaches. In addition to language teaching, IH London represents one of the largest test centres in Europe, accredited for Cambridge exams, IELTS, Linguaskill – General and Business, LanguageCert, and OET for medical English. Delivering computer-based and paper-based tests, we provide exams across the UK, Ireland, Israel, and Nigeria. 

The Trustee Role 

We are looking for candidates who can bring a wealth of experience and provide oversight at a senior level to join our strong and committed Trustee Board. This is an exciting time for IH London as we move forward with the adoption of our new strategy, which focusses on growth and digitisation. Therefore, we are particularly keen to attract candidates who bring at least one of the following areas of expertise – Accounting and Finance, Digital Technology and/or English Language Teaching (ELT). This will be paired with the ambition and drive to strengthen our market position from an already well-established legacy.
