Home-Start Slough is an empowering, visionary family support service built on trusted relationships and rooted in the community.  Looking forward, we are ambitious for our future and looking for Trustees who can help us grow and develop.

We are looking for a Trustee who can create and manage our communications and marketing strategy. We are looking for a Trustee who can:

• create a stakeholder  map of potential funders - both corporate and high worth individuals,
• develop our communications  and engagement strategy for each organisation / individual
• to develop our social media communications channels

to support HSS in developing and selling it’s brand within the local community

You will work with the Board to strengthen our ability to reach a broader range of potential funders; developing targeted messages about the work that we do with young families in order to maximise funding and partnership opportunities.

This is a very important role within our charity. Marketing and communications and raising our profile is an important part of our development strategy and key to our sustainability.

Home-Start Slough support makes transformational differences to families. Any trustee who joins our team plays a significant part in ensuring we are able to make these differences.

The role is mainly home-based with attendance required at the Management Committee meeting every six weeks in Slough.
