Genetic Alliance UK, the largest alliance of organisations supporting people with genetic, rare and undiagnosed conditions in the UK, is looking for a confident and creative Communications Officer to join our small but dynamic team. 

This vital role will work closely with our Communications Manager as well as other members of the team to produce innovative and engaging content across all our brands. The successful candidate will bring fresh ideas and help drive traffic to our social media platforms and website, be responsible for keeping the content up-to-date as well as assisting with general enquiries.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start, or develop a career, working in charity communications. We are looking for someone with a degree in graphic design, illustration or equivalent/similar experience who has outstanding design skills and the ability to produce engaging visuals.  You will also have excellent communication skills (written and verbal), an eye for detail and extensive experience using social media platforms, communication tools such as Mailchimp, social media scheduling platforms, and demonstrable experience of the Adobe suite and other relevant design programmes.
