Infant Mental Health Worker
croydon drop in

Job Description

We have two full-time vacancies to join our Infant Mental Health Team (2.5 days pw) working with 0-5 year olds and their parent/carers and to study on the Anna Freud/CYP-IAPT training (2.5 days pw) at the same time.

Overview of Role:

The PG Dip CYP Improving Access to Psychological Therapies for 0-5s is a ‘Recruit to Train’ course and as such, prospective students must apply for both a place on the course and for one of the corresponding jobs with CDI at the same time. The job and the course go hand-in-hand, and the process of applying for a job and a place on the course happen concurrently. In order to secure the role, prospective trainees will need to successfully obtain a course place offer from UCL. To clarify, in order to be successful in recruitment, the University module staff would need to approve you as suitable for the course and CDI would also have to select you for the job via our (separate) interview process.

The course runs from January to December and not during the standard academic year cycle, so successful applicants will begin the course on January 17th 2022. The UCL applications portal is now open, so you are be able to make a start on this part of your application.

The week is split 2.5 days pw for attending University, teaching and tutorials (either face to face or remote), and you would work in the IMH Team on the other 2.5 days per week. The course itself is a full-time over 1 calendar year and is fully funded by Health Education England so students are not liable for their fees.
