CBT Trainee Therapist
croydon drop in

Job Description

Following a successful bid to the CYP-IAPT ‘Recruit To Train’ programme we have an exciting opportunity to join our Therapeutic Services working with young people. This is a training position and so all candidates will need to apply for both the role at CDI and the Kings College London Post Graduate Diploma in Child and Young Person IAPT Therapy (CBT Module) - for more information about the course, minimum entry criteria and to apply please see the CBT course page: Child and Young Person IAPT Therapy, PG Dip  Please complete your university application using the KCL University Application Guidance supplied. Applicants must apply for both a place on the course and for the post with CDI at the same time in order to be shortlisted. The job and the course go hand-in-hand, and the process of applying for a job and a place on the course happen concurrently. In order to secure an interview offer, prospective trainees will need to successfully obtain a course place offer from KCL. So, in order to be successful in recruitment, the University staff need to approve you as suitable for the course and CDI would also have to select you for the role via our separate interview process. As this is a training position, please be aware that this is a dual application process where you must be employed in a Recruit to Train funded job to also receive a place on the course, and vice-versa. If you are ineligible for the University Course, you will be unable to be offered the role. If you withdraw from an employment offer but you have accepted a university offer, you will be unable to join the course.
