West Midlands Regional Development Manager
coalfields regeneration trust

Job Description

The Trust delivers a diverse mix of activities including grant making, practical support for the voluntary and community sector, employment and skills activities, health improving programmes and asset based development. You will produce a Regional Development Plan that provides a focus to our work and identifies where our interventions can make the biggest difference. This will be measured through increases in the number of people participating in health and wellbeing activities, in work and with improved skills or qualifications.

You will demonstrate the leadership necessary to manage regional relationships, identify opportunities and liaise with our national programme staff and departments to coordinate project activity, investment opportunities and contribute to corporate goals ensuring the Trust delivers excellent capacity building support and quality investments. Collaboration is essential and you will develop partnerships with likeminded stakeholders that add value, do not duplicate existing provision and focus firmly on the levelling up agenda. This will involve identifying resources and funding that can be steered to the former coalfields or where we can take a direct lead on management and delivery.

You will be an experienced strategic manager with an ability to drive positive change by leading from the front. You will demonstrate knowledge of community regeneration and have a passion for making a difference to people who require support. The Coalfields Regeneration Trust has child protection and safeguarding vulnerable adults’ policies in place and the post will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check and references.

All applications must be submitted by 5:00pm 2nd August 2021. Interviews to take place w/c 9th August 2021
