Job Description

We seek to recruit 2 part-time Circles Coordinators in Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. You will set-up and coordinate Circles of Support and Accountability for people who present a significant risk of sexual harm, you will train and support local volunteers, and you will work closely with public protection agencies to ensure the safe integration of people who have sexually offended. Your risk management expertise will be informed by your substantial experience in working with people who present a significant risk of sexual harm. These exciting and challenging opportunities require talented, experienced individuals who are self-motivating and flexible in approach. Ocassional travel is required across south west England.

Dorset Circles Coordinator, 21 hours (3 days) per week, fixed term to March 2021, part based at HMP The Verne, part home based in Dorset

Devon & Cornwall Circles Coordinator, 28 hours (4 days) per week, 12 months fixed term, home based in Devon or Cornwall.

Circles South West is an independent charity that works to prevent sexual abuse by reducing the risk of sexual re-offending through its innovative community-based approach. We provide Circles of Support and Accountability enabling local volunteers to positively impact on the safe integration of people who have sexually offended. Working closely with probation, police and prisons, we provide a complementary risk management approach, making our communities safer.
