Circles UK is doing important work with those that few care to, offering rehabilitation, support and the potential to prevent future victimisation’. Judges statement when Circles UK won the Criminal Justice Alliance Award for Outstanding Organisation 2019

Circles UK oversees the provision of Circles of Support and Accountability (Circles) in England and Wales. The organisation has been in existence since 2008 and in that time has significantly grown its profile, influence and reputation. As a small charity with a national and international remit, we punch far above our weight. We are highly regarded for our specialist expertise in working with perpetrators of sexual abuse and the difference we make to prevent further victims of sexual abuse. Sky News recently produced an in-depth documentary into the work of Circles which can be viewed on YouTube.

We need a ‘hands-on’ Chair who can help us expand our impact and influence to the next level and ensure a sustainable financial future for ourselves as well as for the network of Circles Providers who deliver our Circles products and services.

The role is unpaid, but we cover reasonable expenses and provide access to relevant development opportunities. If you would like to have an informal discussion about the role, please email the CEO, Riana Taylor (see page 10 of the application pack for email address) to arrange a time for a call.
