Working through a combined approach of programmes and advocacy, the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women helps release the potential of women entrepreneurs in low and middle income countries.
Through our work we support them to grow and start successful micro, small and medium businesses so that they can create better futures for themselves and their families, enable their communities to prosper, contribute to strong economies, and move the world in a whole new direction. Over the 12 years since the Foundation’s inception, we have directly supported over 175,000 women across more than 100 countries, and our ambitions continue to grow.
Are you an experienced and senior communications and advocacy professional with significant charity-sector experience looking for an exciting new interim opportunity? Are you committed to working towards a world where women can enjoy equal economic opportunity and the financial independence they need to participate fully in society?
If so, then you could be the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women’s new Interim Director of External Affairs (Maternity Cover).
You will lead our experienced and dynamic External Affairs team (four members) to deliver strategic communications and advocacy plans for the rest of 2021and develop and implement exciting and creative new plans for 2022, as well as personally delivering some key pieces of work. As a key member of the Foundation’s senior leadership team, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the overall strategic leadership of the organisation throughout this period.

Required information:
This is a PART TIME position with a salary range of £55,000 - £60.000 pro rata. You’ll be entitled to 28 days of annual leave pro rata (which includes 3 that must be taken at Christmas), and other benefits.
