Passionate about the community? Would you like to be able to contribute to our team? The Burton at Bideford is currently recruiting for Trustees. 

The Burton at Bideford has been a registered charity since 2016 and is currently looking to recruit new Trustees to the Board. As well as a registered charity, the Burton also became an Arts Council Funded National Portfolio Organisation in 2018.  The Gallery offers an exciting programme of exhibitions as well as a wide range of other activities including educational activities, workshops, supporting local artists, volunteer opportunities and making the Burton a wonderful place to visit for our community as well as visitors to the area.

Existing Trustees have a diverse range of backgrounds. We are currently seeking to expand our team and seek applications from potential Trustees with a proven track record in heritage, arts or business at a strategic level.  Expertise in legal or financial skills would be highly desirable, though not essential.

The role of Trustee is very rewarding, providing an opportunity to give something back to your local community and the arts in the South West. We are happy to receive applications from experienced Trustees or those who may be new to the role.
