Job Description

Purpose of this post:

The role of the Programmes Manager will be to manage a portfolio of funded programmes, they will also line manage the programmes officers/assistant. The programmes manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of their portfolio of programmes, including task allocation and delivery monitoring of the programmes officers. They will create and complete programmes trackers and will be responsible for day-to-day delivery partnership relationship management and effective spending of the assigned programme budget. This post will draft reports for funded programmes, participate in programmes fundraising and continuous improvement and evaluation.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the delivery of a portfolio of programmes.
  • Holding day to day programmes partner relationships
  • Line managing programmes officers and senior programmes officer
  • Spending and tracking programmes spend
  • Creating and implementing programme trackers
  • Contributing to Continuous improvement
  • Drafting reports for funded programmes portfolio
  • Task Allocation

Our BME Network supports over 120 small voluntary and community groups, and our Community Leadership Academy provides learning and development tailored to the needs of small and micro charities that are led by or serve people from BAME backgrounds.

The successful manager will manage a range of programmes, we will explore your professional experience in relation to our programmes in the recruitment process.
