Job Description

The Connect Fund is looking for a new Programme and Communications Officer to join the team and support its mission of strengthening the social investment market in England to better meet the needs of charities and social enterprises. The Programme and Communication Officer will be a highly organised individual who will oversee the programme administration as well as convening our Learning Community and disseminating its findings and recommendations.

Barrow Cadbury Trust delivers the Connect Fund on behalf of our partners, Access – the Foundation for Social Investment. The Connect Fund has been established to strengthen the social investment market in England to better meet the needs of charities and social enterprises.

This is a part-time fixed term contract up until 31st March 2024 with a salary of £31,147–37,232 p.a pro-rata for 21 hours a week, open to flexible working over 3-5 days + a contributory pension scheme. Any offer of employment will be made subject to references, confirmation of the right to work in the UK where we will need to see original documents and the satisfactory completion of a probationary period.
