Job Description

We are Barnet Lone Parent Centre, a small grassroots charity supporting people in the London Borough of Barnet.  We provide free, independent benefits and generalist money advice for anyone in need, not just lone parents. We pride ourselves on providing high quality face-to-face, personalised, friendly service for those who are the most vulnerable in our community. This can include those with low income, mental health conditions, physical disability, substance misuse issues and more.  This work can be rewarding, stimulating and sometimes challenging.

You are an experienced and well-qualified adviser with a passion for helping people.  Ideally, you will have worked in the advice sector for two years or more and managed case files. You are a focused person who can provide excellent service for beneficiaries in an efficient, well-organised way. The ability to work independently whilst meeting deadlines is a key skill you will need. You take pride in ensuring that beneficiary needs are fully met with fairness, dignity and respect.
