Job Description
Balham Community Counselling Service has been helping individuals access low-cost counselling in South London since 1977.
We are committed to supporting people who can’t or don’t traditionally access mental health services. Our aim is to facilitate long term positive outcomes in our clients’ psychological health and wellbeing.
We’re looking for a Counselling Service Manager to lead this diverse and rewarding work. You will be responsible for supporting trainees and ensuring best practice, co-ordinating referrals, assessments and allocations. You will oversee the clinical supervision as well as providing leadership and vision for the service going forward.
The role would suit a qualified therapist (BACP, UKCP or HCPC) ideally with some supervision experience looking to develop their skills and experience in this unique environment.
The role is part time – hours and salary depending on exact duties agreed.
