Age UK South Gloucestershire (AUKSG) is an independent, local charity. We have been working in the community for over 20 years to support older people, their families and carers. We have 21 dedicated staff and over 170 volunteers committed to making South Gloucestershire a great place to grow old and contributing to our mission of 'supporting you and your local community in later life.'

Following an internal restructure, AUKSG is looking to recruit a highly organised and skilled individual to lead on the development and maintenance of volunteering services across the organisation.

This new role will be supported by a Volunteering Coordinator and an administrator and will include overseeing the delivery of our volunteer services, Befriending, Reconnect and Technology Support, including leading on recruitment, training, supervision and retention of our large team of volunteers. The successful candidate will need to collect and analyse delivery and evaluation data relating to volunteer-led services and will be responsible for ensuring targets for funding requirements are achieved.

If you are an experienced people manager, a good communicator and passionate about having a positive impact on the lives of older people, we would like to hear from you.

Age UK South Gloucestershire is committed to equal opportunities and encourages applications from all sectors of the community.

If that person could be you, download an application pack from our website.

Applications must be made using the form on our website, and completed applications forms should be returned to us directly.

Please be aware we are currently reviewing our main office premises, and we may relocate to another central South Gloucestershire location. Further information can be provided on request.

You are advised to submit your application as soon as possible as we reserve the right to close the post at any time once we have received sufficient applications.
