Do you have the skills to help empower older people in Enfield? Become a Trustee.

Age UK Enfield is a local charity working to support, advise, connect and inspire older people in Enfield.

We're looking for dedicated, passionate people, of all ages, with a range of professional and life experience, to join the Age UK Enfield Board of Trustees. Our trustees strengthen governance, provide oversight, take responsibility for finances and the direction of the charity.

We support 7000 older people in Enfield, through a range of services including Information and Advice, Day Care, Home Care, dementia support, social activities, fitness classes, and much more.

We would like to hear from people who have experience of governance work, the charity sector and working with older people, whether paid or voluntary. Previous trustee experience is not necessary – we can pair you up with a trustee who can help you settle into the role. We welcome specialist expertise such as legal, finance, fundraising, social care, marketing, and HR. Meetings take place every two months, outside of working hours, usually at 6pm.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates whose backgrounds reflect the diverse population in Enfield and the clients we work with.
