Community Fundraising Manager
age uk croydon

Job Description

We’ve been supporting local, older people in Croydon for over 25 years and we’ve built up an amazing network of likeminded organisations and contacts.  We’re now looking to develop those relationships to increase awareness and opportunity for Age UK Croydon across the borough.

The Community Fundraising Manager will help us generate unrestricted income through local corporate and community fundraising.  Initially, fundraising efforts will be focused on the capital appeal, generating funds for the redevelopment of our Brigstock Road community hall.  In the long-term the Community Fundraising Manager will continue to build new relationships as well as maintaining strong loyal ones that maximise income and opportunities.

If you are passionate about making a difference to the lives of local, older people and want to contribute to an organisation which is continuously striving to improve, then we would love to hear from you.

Key skills we are looking for:

  • A track record and experience in corporate and community fundraising
  • Locally-based
  • Confident in presenting/communicating daily to large and smaller audiences and individuals regarding fundraising
  • Good organisational skills
