Adfam has a track record of supporting people who too often find they have no one to turn to, producing ground breaking research and influencing policy decisions by national and regional policy makers. We have a small, but experienced and highly skilled staff team

We are especially interested in people with

- Financial and governance skills

- HR experience

- Knowledge of Children and Families social services

- Academic and research links

- Lived experience

- Experience of working/trusteeship in a medium size charity

- Experience of working with digital platforms and channels

Adfam is the only national charity tackling the effects of alcohol, drug use or gambling on family members and friends. We improve life for thousands of people and we are aiming to increase our reach and influence in coming years. This impact of addiction on loved one’s can be devastating and 1 in 3 people in the UK say that they have been affected. We welcome people with experiences from BAME communities as we develop the cultural competence of the board and wider organisation.

Adfam is
