  • Can you advocate on behalf of young women with statutory services?

If this is you, then we'd love to hear from you.

We are looking for someone to work with young women up to the age of 25, who are affected by county lines and gangs, using Abianda’s unique model of practice. Abianda is an innovative, equalities focused organisation, with passionate and committed staff. You will deliver one-to-one sessions in the London area, with the possibility of some work outside of London. You will be part of a dedicated team of practitioners with regular support and clinical supervision.

This is a full-time fixed term contract until 31 March 2022.

We are hoping the successful candidate will be able to start in June or July. The funding for this contract is currently until 31 March 2022, but we hope to be in a position to extend it following securing additional funding. As Covid restrictions lift it is hoped that all sessions with young women will be delivered face to face, although some online sessions are still expected for the time being. There will also be opportunities to deliver training to professionals and attend public speaking events for which there will be additional remuneration. A job description with more details of the role, including a person specification, can be downloaded from the supporting documents below.

To apply please download and complete our application form (no CVs please) and our criminal record self disclosure form. Please also download and complete our equal opportunities form (although this is optional).

Deadline for completed applications is 11pm, Monday 24 May

Interviews will be held on Tuesday 15 June
