Perennial is a remarkable charity that has brought enormous benefit to people for over 180 years, delivering on our purpose of building better futures for people in horticulture. We are needed more than ever, helping anyone who makes or looks after gardens, sport grounds, woodlands and other green spaces.

We are passionate about delivering early help and preventative services that make a real and lasting difference in people’s lives and have ambitious plans for the future.

We are looking for new Trustees with strategic experience within a health, welfare or social care environment, ideally possessing knowledge of governance and safeguarding. We are also looking for Trustees with experience of not-for-profit debt advice, within an FCA regulated environment.

As a trustee you will play a key role in setting the future strategic direction and oversight of our service delivery, providing leadership and governance within an exceptional charity.

As a trustee you will be expected to attend four Board meetings each year and become a member of our Services Committee that meet four times a year.  Some remote attendance will be possible.

This is a voluntary role, however full induction and training is provided, and participation in events is encouraged. Appointments are subject to enhanced DBS checks.
