Trustee Vacancy - An Exciting Opportunity to Shape the Future of Counselling in Bolton.

Beacon Bolton Counselling Service is looking for Trustees to join our team and support the organisation through it's next phase of development.

As a result of our COVID response, we recognise the value of offering remote therapies as additional options to  onsite face-to-face counselling. Our Board of Trustees are already reviewing and planning services for the future. These plans include amongst other things: flexible working, services that are responsive to client needs and preferences, income generation; refinement and further development of digital systems.  If you have something to offer, we would love to hear from you.

Our teams work collaboratively to ensure that our beneficiaries have access to professional, quality services.  Beacon is a responsible employer and service provider, values staff and volunteers, and essentially, promotes and upholds equality and diversity principles within our community.

We currently offer remote one-to-one counselling by telephone and Zoom. Onsite appointments are an option for clients preferring face-to-face appointments, however, we will continue to follow Government health and safety guidelines in relation to covid and any emerging variants.

Although this Trustee role is unpaid, we reimburse reasonable out-of-pocket expenses.
