Job Description

The Role

The business is going through an exciting period of growth & development and we are looking for a Business Development Manager who will help drive the growth of the organisation in the coming years

The focus will be to nurture our existing media partnerships and develop new ones with a view to creating a world class partner ecosystem that raises both cash and supports our trainees into employment opportunities. This will entail all aspects of account management from assessing the opportunities, devising a strategic plan through to execution. This is an exciting opportunity to make your own mark and to help change the lives of thousands of young people.

The broader role at an agreed time will be to contribute to the management of selected areas of the operation e.g. marketing, video production, fundraising, finance, admin.

Key responsibilities

Development

  • Approach existing partnerships innovatively to develop the business relationship
  • Bring in new partners and support the delivery of agreed partner activity
  • Maximise each partnership opportunity by developing multi-year sustainable trainee schemes that deliver on their social responsibility, marketing and recruitment needs.
  • Manage KPIs around CRM database growth, brand awareness and reach,
  • Secure meeting speaking and presentation opportunities
  • Developing and presenting pitches to partners

Talent

  • The ability to design and deliver face to face and remote training - for example professional skills
  • Secure job opportunities from partners for our trainees
  • Creating marketing strategies to promote our trainees to partners
  • Shortlisting suitable talent for job roles
  • Develop career and personal development programmes

Overall

  • Deliver weekly progress updates, monthly reports and report achievements in marketing meetings
  • Maintaining content on our social media accounts directed at our partners
