Treasurer Required - AVSED (Aireborough Voluntary Services to the Elderly)

We are a local Neighbourhood Network Scheme supporting older people in Aireborough (LS19, LS20 and parts of LS29 and BD10 postcodes), Leeds

Due to the future retirement of our current trustee position, we are looking for a volunteer Treasurer

· Not for profit Charity caring for residents over 60 in the community

· Post requires background knowledge of Charity Commission & Companies House accounting procedures

· Working Knowledge of computerised financial accounting systems is essential (preferably QuickBooks)

· Duties include financial reports for the board, keeping track of funding levels & preparing year-end accounts with our appointed accountants.

This is a rewarding post offering a full induction programme within a forward-looking and expanding charity.
