Job Description

Every year, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) provides care and treatment for more than 100,000 people of all ages who need their services for mental and long-term physical health conditions.

As an NHS Charity, it is Head to Toe’s mission to help CPFT provide the very best care and experience for patients. Working across the Trust and in the community, we invest in charitable projects that our NHS staff and patients tell us they need, to help enhance their treatment and improve their wellbeing - ensuring that people have the tools, resources, and support to live well, regardless of their physical or mental health diagnosis.

We proactively work with the public, organisations, and other charities to raise the profile of our NHS services, and to ensure that the wider community benefits from our knowledge, expertise and support.

This is an exciting time to join Head to Toe, as you will have the opportunity to help shape our Charity and make a lasting difference to people with mental and physical health problems in our local area.

This post is a fixed-term, 12 month contract (maternity cover), for an experienced, highly qualified and competent charity professional with broad experience and a skill-set to complement managing the operations of a charitable organisation.

The post holder will be able to quickly establish themselves within the CPFT management structure, able to negotiate and influence at senior levels within the organisation, working closely with colleagues from a range of backgrounds including executive team, senior management, clinicians, key stakeholders and other staff in the provision of the Charity’s strategic aims.

The interim Charity Manager will also lead on organisational fundraising for major projects - particularly the ground-breaking new Cambridge Children’s Hospital, and its ambitious £100m fundraising campaign.

The client requests no contact from agencies or media sales.
